Sponsoring the Australian Open for three years, Aperol has achieved immense success with its experiences in AO’s surrounding entertainment precincts. The brief for 2020 was simple; to create the most successful experiences yet, by selling more product and generating more earned media than ever before.
Amplify Events was engaged to conceptualise and lead the creative direction from pitch to delivery of two hero activations. We engaged a project team of collaborators who joined throughout the process to deliver 3D design, creative and branding design, styling, engineering and fabrication.
The result was a highly visual spectacular attracting thousands of visitors throughout the championship and generating the highest number of social mentions for an Australian Aperol activation to date.
